Love Wednesdays, Roxie!!! Fittin' my ideas in your sketch boxes or circles or squares! Thanks for the 'stop light' challenge (as someone at my house remarked!).
I definitely played with this one, a hurry home card for our university son. I love architectural details and the tiny windows on the accent panel seemed to fit with the sentiment. These are part of a set of UM's from Michelle Ward's Green Pepper Press. I stamped them on Brazzill from the Christmas pack in Memento Paris Dusk and lightly embossed with clear. They are cut and place on circles (Martha punch) with a brick bg, paper from HOTP. The rich brown suede paper is unknown. My main panel is Cosmo Cricket Souvenir 'traveling man'. I cuttle the lower part with the mesh ef. The sentiment is inked as the windows and the edges are distressed with VersaMagic gingerbread. It is popped on mounting squares. I added a leather strip with robin's egg blue zigzag. The staples are copper and I used MM rub-on's in the windows to spell out DS's name.

Oh Susan I love this card. I like the texture and the reverse cuttlebug. I like your thoughts behind it - a trip down memory lane when DS was away at college and how anxious we were for him to arrive home for the holidays. Safe travel for Sam.
